Our Approach

Good systems begin with precise questions.

To remove ambiguity from enterprise software delivery, we guide every engagement through six structured stages.

  1. 01

Discovery — Problem Definition & Scope

Understanding business goals, user roles, existing operational bottlenecks, and technical constraints.

    What happens

Stakeholder interviews, review of current spreadsheets/documents, and mapping of accounting and workflow rules.

    Deliverable

Documented requirement register, role permission matrix, and defined project boundaries.

    Approved by

Client project sponsor and NORTHSTAR systems analyst.

  2. 02

    Architecture & Design — Specification & Modeling

Shaping the technical architecture, database schema, and user interface wireframes.

    What happens

Designing the entity-relationship model, API contracts, security boundaries, and UX/UI screen layouts.

    Deliverable

Technical specification, architecture diagram, and approved interface prototypes.

    Approved by

Client project lead and lead software architect.

  3. 03

    Engineering — Iterative Development

Building the system module by module with regular staging demonstrations.

    What happens

Implementing backend services, database migrations, and web/desktop interfaces with peer code review.

    Deliverable

Working software increments deployed to a staging environment for inspection.

    Approved by

Engineering lead and client stakeholders during milestone reviews.

  4. 04

Verification — Testing & Quality Assurance

Functional verification, accounting reconciliation checks, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

    What happens

Validating business rules, role restrictions, dual-currency calculations, and resolving identified defects.

    Deliverable

QA verification report and release candidate ready for production.

    Approved by

Client acceptance team and QA lead.

  5. 05

    Deployment — Launch & Handover

Production deployment, initial data migration, and operator onboarding.

    What happens

Environment configuration, catalogue/balance import, user documentation, and supervised go-live.

    Deliverable

Live production system and formal handover documentation.

    Approved by

    Authorized representatives of both parties.

  6. 06

    Support — Operations & Evolution

Contracted technical support and iterative enhancements informed by real-world usage.

    What happens

Operational monitoring, user assistance, security maintenance, and planning subsequent feature phases.

    Deliverable

Dependable ongoing operation and structured product evolution.

    Approved by

Governed by the active support and maintenance agreement.

Note: This framework represents our standard delivery model. Specific milestones, service levels, and legal obligations are defined in each project contract.
